Horizon Elementary

The school that I am observing is Horizon Elementary in the Mukilteo School District. There were many features on their website that I found interesting and helpful. It provides a lot of important information for parents like a calendar of events, lunch menu, and a staff directory. The page also has school news and performance data on each school. I was interested to find that 42.9% of the students in this school do not speak English, which will make a challenging dynamic in the classroom, but I am up for the challenge! The website also has links for students and I discovered that there are a handful of teachers there who have a website. I think that there should be more and I think that the schools page should have more links for fun learning resources online for their students.
