The SMARTboard

I read the article "Improving Instruction with Interactive Whiteboards" by D. Schaffhauser. This made me realize that technology not only adds excitement to classroom learning but it can be essential to the learning process. For the school in the article - the SMARTboard is a tool that will provide learning where there was none before. The SMARTboard is an excellent visual tool because of it's movement and the way the student can interact. I can see why this school would use the little money they have to buy this essential learning tool.
